Captains Page

I am honored to be named Co-Captain of the St. Paul Jazz Pigs. I have been with the Pigs since the fall of 2012. When I moved back to the Twin Cities, it was not a difficult decision to join the Pigs. The club exemplifies class, plays tough, competitive rugby, and the members of the club are fun to be around.
I started my rugby career in college at South Dakota State University, where I played 4 years. As a Jackrabbit, I supported the club as the president, coach, and field captain for 3 years. Once I graduated, I played for the Sioux Falls Crow for 3 years. As a crow, I helped coach, was vice captain and vice president. I played scrum half at SDSU before making the switch to fly half when I moved to the Crow.
I am looking forward to the upcoming season for our club. After our first season back in D2, we earned the right and showed we belong in D2 while fielding a competitive 2nd side. This season I expect our club to take another step forward and make a name for ourselves in the division for both sides.
