The Pigs took the field on Saturday against the young Duluth team ready for a big match. The weather started rainy, but by the time the whistle blew the sun was starting to come out. The Pigs started the match a little slow with the ball handling now quite there. However as the minutes progressed they showed their true form and really got the ball moving. Great work by the pack in controlling the ball and by the backs by getting the ball moving across the field. A great win for the Pigs side.
The Pigs traveled to Faribault expecting to help fill out the Faribault team in a match against Iowa Falls. When the Pigs arrived at the pitch they had brought nearly a full team. Faribault having less players than the Pigs changed gears and decided to fill out our side. The match was won by the Pigs 14-7. Click here for more details.

Due to the warm weather the location of the Buca Benefit tournament may change. Alternate location #1 are the softball fields at Hoffman Park. They are at the top of the hill at the same location. Alternate location #2 is where the tournament was held last year at Glen Park. This will be a game day decision. The site will be updated as more information is available.

Here is Kramer’s offseason training program. Click to open the PDFs, or right click and save to your computer. A couple notes from Kramer:
The first PDF is the Training Program – there are a few introductory paragraphs to explain why the program is designed the way it is and to give some general pointers for those of you who don’t spend 2 hours a day in a gym.
The second PDF explains all of the exercises, most of them with videos. Please, please, please take a minute before each workout to make sure you know how to properly perform each exercise in that day’s workout.
