The Midwest Union is in the process of setting up the schedule for next
fall and has asked if we have any special scheduling requests.
In the past we have asked for a bye weekend because of a player having a
wedding during the season (try to avoid that…weddings are cheaper in
winter anyways). Or another event that would pull a lot of guys away from a

I am sure they have already given everyone a bye weekend for the NZ v
Osh Kosh and the Bottom Feeders do not have enough people to field two sides. We will be playing one match, with three thirty minute periods. Kick-off is now at 1:00pm. Please be there at 11:45am for field setup. After setting up the field, get together in position groups (forwards/backs) and start walking through set pieces/plays. That is what we did up at Duluth.
We have two home matches this Saturday, May 14th. First, the D2 will be playing against the St. Cloud Bottom Feeders at 12:00pm. At 2:00pm, the D4 will be taking on the Osh Kosh Mighty Pigs.
Both matches will be at our home pitch in Maplewood. (Afton Heights Park, Upper Afton Rd., Maplewood, MN 55119).
Please be at the field at 10:45m to help with field setup. Please setup your gear on the north side of the field (baseball diamond side).
Backs please bring a case of water for the team to use.
After the matches we will be doing the Annual Pig Roast. Below is the info for the event.

Saturday, April 30th, we are traveling to Duluth, MN to take on U of M:Duluth College Men (3 time defending national champs). Kick-off will be at 12:00pm. Please be there kitted and ready to warm up by 11:00am. Troy wants to run extra lines with the back-line. If you are a kicker, please be there before 11:00am to warm up kicking.
The location of the match will be field 4 on the UMD campus,1064 University Drive, Duluth, MN
The weather Saturday is supposed to be sunny, but high in the mid 40s with wind up to 19mph.
For the match this weekend we are going to have a theme of above the waist
formal. Please see the attached photo for an example of what this should
look like. If you don’t have something like this already just swing by a
goodwill and pick up a fancy 5 dollar suit coat or something similar. After
the metropolis social we will be heading to Sally’s housewarming party
which the whole team is invited to.
Tomorrow we are taking on Metropolis’ D2 and D4 squads. The matches will be played at 800 Columbia Pkwy., Minneapolis, MN 55418.
D2 is at 1:00pm. D4 is at 3:00pm. Please be there by 12:00pm.

Saturday, April 9th we are traveling to Winona Minnesota to take on the Winona State University Men’s team.
Kick-off is at 12:00pm. Please be at the field, kitted and ready to warm up by 11:00am. Depending on numbers, a B-side match will follow.

This Sunday is our first game/scrimmage which also means our first social of the year. We will be having the social at my house following the scrimmage against Mankato. Please try to clear your schedule to attend the social for at least a little bit. There will be free food and Beer I am still debating between tacos or bbq sandwiches.
