Pigs, Prospective Pigs, Followers and Friends,

The St. Paul Jazz Pigs will begin our journey to the promised land (a Midwest Title Game) tomorrow, March 1st with practice at 8:00PM in the Bielenberg Fieldhouse in Woodbury, MN. Players, be ready by 8:00, so we can make the most of the time we have on the field! Practice will run until about 9:30PM. Starting Tuesday, September 13th to utlize lights our practice location will be changing to McMurry Fields just south of Como Park.  Practice times will remain 6:30pm – 8:30pm.

Practice will be back at Como Park starting the 31st and will run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm – 8pm through the rest of the Spring.

Practice begins on March 24th at McMurray Field.  Practice will run from 8pm – 10pm on the far side of the fields under the lights.  The Saint Paul Rugby High School team will be practicing in the same location from 6pm – 8pm.  Feel free to come out early to check out the new club and offer a hand to Shane Sargent as he teaches the young men the sport of rugby.

The Spring season is not far away.  Practice begins on March 24th, with our first game for April 2nd.  Check the calendar for a full list of matches.  Everyone needs to ensure they are fit as we head into the season.  Coach Neil has given us goals to reach as we head into practice.  Click here for a list of those goals and practice requirements.

As we move deeper into fall, sunlight is becoming an issue.  Practice will be at 6pm at Como Park.  Try and get out as early as you can so we can get as much work in as we can.

Summer practices have begun.  Thursdays at 6:30pm at Como Park.  There are a number of guys coming out at 6:00pm for some pre-practice fitness.  Come on out and have some fun running around.  Something you’ve never played but always wanted to give it a try… the summer is a great opportunity to learn.

Practice starts Tuesday, March 30th at 6:15pm.  Location has not changed from last year.  It will be at Como Park on the Corner of Horton Avenue and Midway Parkway.  Practice will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays through the end of the Spring Season. Go to Schedule – Directions for detailed directions to Como Park.  Contact Grant Dietrich if you have any questions:  612-819-3531.  See you at practice!

Due to the warm weather the location of the Buca Benefit tournament may change.  Alternate location #1 are the softball fields at Hoffman Park.  They are at the top of the hill at the same location.  Alternate location #2 is where the tournament was held last year at Glen Park.  This will be a game day decision.  The site will be updated as more information is available.
